Use Devices the Way They’re Meant to Be Used
Every device ships with a manufacturer’s manual, and we’d really encourage reading it before first use. Nebulizers, glucose monitors, stethoscopes — these are built for specific jobs, and using them outside that, or skipping the instructions, can throw off your results or, worse, cause harm.
First time using a particular device? Recommending one to a patient? Make sure there’s proper training or guidance behind it. Our own care and usage guides help, but they’re not a replacement for the manufacturer’s official documentation or an actual healthcare professional’s instructions.
On Accuracy and Calibration
We work with manufacturers we trust, and we check that products meet the quality and safety standards they need to before they reach you. Even so, no device is ever perfectly free of measurement variance — battery condition, storage temperature, calibration, even how correctly it’s used, all of that plays into the numbers you see.
For devices where accuracy really matters clinically, like BP monitors, periodic calibration checks are worth doing, and consumables or batteries should get replaced exactly as the manufacturer says. Get a reading that seems off? Check it against a second device, or just ask a professional, before acting on it.

Our end of the deal is supplying devices that meet the agreed specifications and quality standards. What happens clinically after that — that’s between the user and their treating healthcare professional.
